In fact Karkat was present on the day John was born, since the troll is 2 years older than the human prince. So they actually met from the moment John came to be, ha ha. They didn’t really get along too well at first but were forced to be together through their dads’ meetings. This is also a couple of years before Karkat gave John his first glasses, so that’s why he’s not wearing them yet. Super nervous about opening the ask blog so I’m just going to reblog some stuff first.
